Thank you for booking with GillTek!

The golden rule of preparing your property for a Matterport video – or any other photo/video shoot – is presentation. Keep in mind, our camera is going to capture everything visible, in clear detail. Here are some tips to take into consideration before we arrive for your appointment:

-The Premises should be clean and tidy, do a thorough top to bottom clean. Every bit of vacuuming, dusting, and polishing counts enormously. Especially in the kitchen and bathrooms.

-Stage each room optimally to set the scene. Remove unneeded clutter from each area. Worktop items such as coffee machines and toasters should be stowed away.

-Bathroom / Shower items should be put away.

-Remove personal items/photos, and all valuables from plain view. We don't mean to leave the shelves bare, but you want to aim to de-personalizing the Give the viewer a blank slate to project their vision of the space.

-All cupboards / closets should be closed. Beds made.
-Curtains and blinds should be fully open and light bulbs should be checked to make sure they are all working in case the video professional needs extra lighting on the shoot.

Do you have any pets? Please let us know in advance if special arrangements need to be made. Generally it is best to have them out of the house at the time of the scan, to negate risks to the camera, and to the quality of your photos.

If you have any further questions, please give us a call and we'll be happy to help.
